Education |
- High School Diploma ; additional technical education a bonus
- Forklift operation experience ; certification an asset
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably chemical process related
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude / experience
- Ability to interact and work with others in a productive and professional manner
- Ability to follow, communicate, understand and execute written and verbal instructions and work orders
- Basic math skills
- WHMIS trained
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs (loading bags into tanks for batching)

Duties / Responsibilities |
- Responsible for manufacturing Solvent Borne products according to company quality and safety requirements
- Load and unload chemicals into mixing vessels using best safety practices
- Operate and maintain processing equipment according to company quality and safety requirements
- Prepare batches for processing according to batch sheet requirements
- Pump solvents into mixing vessels, storage vessels and packaging according to company standards
- Test and adjust viscosity of finished products
- Operate forklift
