Duties / Responsibilities
    Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or Technical Degree Or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of industrial, H&S and quality standards
  • ISO Auditor training experience desired
  • Excellent communication and people skills (verbal and written)
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, trouble shooting and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally among all departments to include production, management, human resources, etc.
  • Ability to collaborate resources and information needed to accomplish goals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented mindset is required Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and assist with all lab and technical activities
  • Assist in testing and evaluating any new products (trials)
  • Maintain calibration of testing equipment throughout the plant
  • Carry out product testing and reporting internally and externally
  • Assist production with product specification review
  • Assist in data collecting and analysis
  • Assist with implementation and maintenance of efficient Quality Management System (QMS) throughout the organization as required by ISO 9001-2000
  • Assist the organization with the management of the Composite Panel Association (CPA)/Environmentally Preferable Products (EPP) Certification Program
  • Report the performance of the QMS on an ongoing basis as well as to ensure compliance by all departments
  • Collect, analyze and communicate customer requirements, customer complaints and customer feedback throughout the organization
  • Assist with representation for the company with the CPA
  • Oversee and participate in monitoring and compliance
  • Arrange and conduct ISO audits and ISO Management review meetings
  • Deal with customer complaints, claims, returns and technical requests
  • Provide technical assistance throughout the plant as required
  • Assist in the evaluation of nonconforming products in the plant
  • Evaluate and assist in the development of improved techniques for control of quality and reliability
  • Complete all daily production testing and reporting as required
  • Report inspected or tested products that are out of specification
  • Ensure up-to-date specifications and standards are issued and followed. Ensure all material produced follows these specifications and standards
