| Duties / Responsibilities |
Purpose and Scope: Responsible for developing methods for Manufacturing processes. Developing jigs and fixtures and identifying areas for improvement to make and sustain high levels of product quality. Sourcing spare parts. Plan and execute set up of new machinery. Direct report to the Director of Operations.
Job duties:
- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in detailed layout for equipment, processes, and workflow.
- Implementing new processes complying with Health and Safety standards.
- Maintain and create Standard Operating Procedures.
- Create maintenance Schedule for new manufacturing equipment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office and SolidWorks.
- Lean Manufacturing Practices.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum, 5 years, of hands on experience in a manufacturing environment.
